A Tribute to Nina Simone(link no longer current). A repeat on Beeb 3's Jazz Legends but a pretty good one. I remember reading a slightly disturbing article in the National Post back a few years ago, back when the paper was still in its prime that painted a very bleak picture of the artists latter years. Bitter about men, record deals, and just about everything else and drug dependancy to top it off.

Just received my copie of the British Anthology Sentence in the mail. One of the main selling point of this book form me was the opportunity to see more of Tom Gauld's work. I have to rembember to pick up Time Out in which he has a strip that appears weekly. His stuff is tailor made to fit my tastes- beutiful yet simple hatch-work, and a thematic cross of wirednesss, history and science.
